R11 Driver, Your Favorites

The New taylormade production- taylorMade r11 driver has the ability to adjust the loft with Flight Control Technology and you can adjust the face angle with the new Adjustable Sole Plate (ASP), so the taylorMade r11 driver is the latest and greatest from the makers of the No.1 driver in golf.  It has new technology, like an adjustable sole that can adjust the face angle of the club, as well as the ability to adjust the launch angle, making it a truly adjustable driver.

This taylorMade r11 driver promotes up to 100 yards of side-to-side trajectory change and 1,000 RPM backspin change, giving you consistent power and distance. The new aerodynamic shape promotes faster clubhead speed for more distance, 6 yards longer than the r9 driver. The white non-glare crown and black clubface (which provides easy alignment) of this taylorMader11 driver will improve your game and that sleek white finish will make you the center of attention on the course and in the clubhouse.

The taylorMade r11 driver activates the three dimensions to distance. Flight Control Technology allows you to increase or decrease the launch angle; Adjustable Sole Plate Technology enables you to select an open, closed or neutral face angle; and Movable Weight Technology means you can adjust the face angle to promote a fade or draw. Taking Advanced Orders Now, product will ship in 5-6 weeks.

I was carrying my 08 Tour Burner 250-260, in my very first round with the R11 I was bombing my drives over 270 carry with this taylorMade r11 driver. The sound this club makes with great contact is just second to none. You will turn a lot of heads with this boy and make all of your buddies jealous and walking away from the tee box with their tails between their legs. Plus the adjust-ability is top notch. I switched the weights around so it was neutral and it allowed me to play my baby cut all day long. I bought the 9 degree and was teeing it up pretty low and I got very good trajectory. It's very accurate; even the misses are going relatively long and straight. This is going to help my game quite a bit and it has given me a ton of confidence in my drives. The white crown of this aylorMade r11 driver was a zero factor for me but the sharp contrast between crown and club face is very nice for aiming. If you don't get this club set up properly, it can really hinder your game. I had a long review written about my trials working with Golfsmith to get my taylorMade r11 driver squared away, but the bottom line is this. Get it set up correctly and you will love it.

My TaylorMade R11 Review

The TaylorMade R11 is a remarkable series; highly technical yet beautifully simple. Because of that I’m going to make a TaylorMade R11 review covering their amazing features and benefits. You will find out how you can fine tune it with three different settings in order to get more loft, more distance and more direction. This review is mainly about TaylorMade R11 Driver and R11 Fairway wood. TaylorMade R11 series are new released. Having a try, I’m impressed by the 3D adjustability technology most. This technology is really great because it allows golfers to tune the face angle, loft, lie and trajectory independently. At the beginning, I was not used to it, but after several tries, I found it easy to operate. There are three technologies concerned including FCT (Flight Control Technology), AST (Adjustable Sole Technology) as well as MWT (Movable Weight Technology). But different from the driver, R11 Fairway wood doesn’t adopt MWT.

Making the adjustments is a matter of unscrewing the bottom screw with the wrench provided and withdrawing the shaft from the club head. You then rotate the shaft and re-insert it into the head lining up the markings to your desired position. The adjustments can be made in half degree increments so you can play with it until you find the most beneficial loft and backspin for you.

With FCT, you are able to tune the loft you need, no matter one degree higher or lower or at a mid value. When you change the R11 loft, the face angle will be changed correspondingly. A higher face loft marks a closer face angle, vice versa. AST allows you to set the face angle. Firstly, place club to the alignment position, and determine whether tune the face angle or not. There is a way to tell. If the clubhead is too closed, you may tune it for straight or opener head, and if the clubhead is too open, you may tune it for straight of closer head. It is very easy and convenient. MWT is exclusively used by R11 driver to provide more adjustability functions. This technology has been adopted in previous r9 clubs, allowing golfers to tune flight trajectory. The three technologies together create a 3D adjustability system for R11 Driver. TaylorMade R11 Fairway Wood creates up to 60 yards from side to side trajectory adjustment, and plus and minus 1000 RPM backspin speed adjustment while TaylorMade R11 Driver creates 48 head settings and promotes up to 100 yards of side to side trajectory change and 1000 RPM backspin change. Besides, their black and white color contrast is anti-glare. I like it.

No.1 R11 Fairway Wood

The taylormade r11 fairway wood is the latest and greatest from the makers of the No.1 woods in golf. "I’ve never seen a fairway wood perform as well as the taylormader11 fairway wood. The white head is super easy to align at address and the ball jumps off the face.” said Justin Rose. Robert Garrigus indicates, "The r11 fairway wood is the total package. The white crown makes it so easy to square the clubface and I love the added distance and adjustability.”

TaylorMade r11 fairway wood is very similar to the driver on the use of technologies. The difference is R11 driver is a 3D adjustable system while the fairway wood is two-dimension - Flight Control Technology (FCT) for loft adjustability, Adjustable Sole Plate (ASP) for face angle adjustability. When you change the clubhead's loft using FCT, you're also forced to change the face angle – increase loft and the face angle closes; decrease loft and the face angle opens. However, the ASP can change that problem by allowing you to tune the face angle independently of the loft. The ASP sole plate provides ±2° of face angle change (neutral/square, 2° open, 2° closed). You can create three lofts with the same face angle, or you can further accentuate a face angle or counter a negative face angle. Plus, the combination of ASP and FCT effectively doubles the range of face angle for the club for ±2° to ±4°. This taylormade r11 fairway wood promotes up to 60 yards of side-to-side trajectory change and 1,000 RPM backspin change, giving you consistent power and distance.

The taylormade r11fairway wood features a new aerodynamic shape to promote faster speed and more distance off the tee. An adjustable face angle and loft allow you to customize the club to fit your game. A deeper face and front center of gravity allows for more penetrating flight while a white crown and black clubface used in taylormade r11 fairway wood make alignment easy.

An advanced sole design of r11 fairway wood reduces the amount of sole area that comes into contact with the turf by 35% compared to the R9 fairway wood. This reduces turf resistance for more speed and helps to minimize clubhead twisting. The Stainless Steel head of taylormade r11 fairway wood features a 'Ghost' white crown and a contrasting black PVD face, making it much easier to 'see' the ball at address and help alignment for added confidence. The r11 fairway wood’s centre of gravity (CG) has been lowered by 50% compared to other TaylorMade models, ensuring an easy launch from the fairway.

R11 Driver Review

The crown of taylormade r11 driver is white while its clubface is black. The contrast between these two colors makes it easy to align the r11 driver accurately at address, which enables players to adjust the position more accurately. The more a driver is tuned to you, the father you’ll hit it. With r11 driver’s 3D Tuning, you are able to independently tune loft, face angle and flight path to your swing to maximize your distance. R11 taylormade driver can realize this adjustment, and give you this much control over your distance. FCT stands for Flight Control Technology which allows you to set the loft, AST stands for Adjustable Sole Technology which allows you to set the face, and MWT is Moveable Weight Technology which allows you to set the flight path. All of the three technologies allow r11 driver taylormade more precisely to your swing to promote increased distance and accuracy. TaylorMade r11 driver creates 48 head settings and allows a lot of adjustments that you need and it’s pretty amazing stuff. Besides, Taylormade driver r11 is both highly forgiving and accurate. The r11 driver is a straight shooter.

TaylorMade r11 driver promotes up to 100 yards of side-to-side trajectory change and 1,000 RPM backspin change, giving you consistent power and distance. The new aerodynamic shape of r11 driver promotes faster clubhead speed for more distance, 6 yards longer than the R9 Supertri. The white non-glare crown and black clubface (which provides easy alignment) will improve your game and that sleek white finish will make you the center of attention on the course and in the clubhouse.

There are some taylormade r11 driver reviews as below. Dustin Johnson: “I’ve never been so dialed in on the tee box. The fitting was quick and the r11 driver was totally customizes to my swing. I can’t wait to bring this driver out on Tour.” Justin Rose: “The driver looks incredible, and once we tuned it, the distance gained blew me away.” There are some other sayings from different angles of taylormade r11 driver: Eye-catching, 440cc white head is one of the top-rated drivers. Excellent adjustability features of r11 driver contribute to straighter, longer drives. Feel: Dampened, muted, soft feel with some spring in the face; a well-balanced club that is easy to swing. Look: White head looks odd initially, but a majority of testers find that the distraction quickly becomes a non-issue; white makes clubhead look larger.

We Love The Perfect R11 Irons

The R11 has a much more traditional appearance. The strong-lofted SuperFast 2.0 is a multi-material iron with something of a futuristic look to it, whereas the R11 is a multi-material iron with a generous amount of technology wrapped in a more conventional package.

Most TaylorMade touring pros will continue to use Tour Preferred irons, although some are expected to play the R11, which fits neatly between the Tour Preferred and SuperFast 2.0.

The R11 is expected to appeal to golfers who want the look of a traditional iron but the performance advantages of a modern iron. The R11 is a thin-faced, finely weighted distance iron that just happens to look more like a classic iron.

The R11 irons feature a red weight port reminiscent of the red disc on R11 drivers. The weight port on the iron, though, serves a different function – not only does it insure a uniform swingweight, it is part of TaylorMade's system for locating the center of gravity in an exact position on each R11 iron.

With the R11, TaylorMade has paid particular attention to sound and vibration management. Sandwiched between the clubhead and an aluminum sound badge in the back cavity is a soft adhesive substance that absorbs unwanted vibration.

The company says the R11 feels "superbly soft." Many modern iron designs are known for their immaculate feel, and amateurs who shop for irons should make sure they match the feel (particularly on miss-hits) with their expectations.

The sole of the R11 is reasonably sharp, designed to enter and exit the turf without digging or bouncing. Nick Faldo was heavily involved in the design of the iron, and he focused on the sole as well as the top line.

Faldo wanted a multifunctional sole and a top line that blends into the hosel in a pleasing fashion. The long irons have wider soles to lower the CG for a higher launch.

Lofts on the R11 iron are slightly weaker than those of the SuperFast 2.0 but stronger than the Tour Preferred lofts.

Stock shafts will be the steel KBS 90 and the graphite Fujikura Motore (75S, 65R, 55M, 50L). The KBS 90 feels very stable but enables golfers to get the ball in air much easier than with most heavier steel shafts. As the different Motore shafts get lighter, they also get softer, so the R (regular) kicks the ball somewhat higher than the S (stiff).

The R11 irons will be available in a set of eight clubs, and consumers will have a choice. Most are expected to be 4-through-A (gap wedge), although a 5-through-S (sand wedge) configuration also can be purchased. A 3-iron is sold separately.

Hit The Spot With TaylorMade R11 Irons

Throughout the years, TaylorMade continues to launch breakthroughs in golf equipment technology. Following the success of R11 Driver is the company's newest release in their forged irons collection, the TaylorMade R11 Irons.

Inspired by R11 Driver innovation, R11 Irons have all the important technologies making it so far the best club in the irons category that TaylorMade has ever come up with. According to its engineers, the red precision-weighting port technology which is the very first thing that would grab every golfer's attention guarantees precise swing weight while ensuring centre-face Center of Gravity or CG. As a result, the feel and performance from one club to the next will be consistent. For serious Golfers, sound and vibration are both important factors that affect the feel in a club. For the purpose of ensuring players to get a superbly soft feel, TaylorMade worked diligently using its advanced design capabilities. And while it's been said that predicting how an iron would sound and feel is not easy, they still nailed it.

TaylorMade R11 Irons is classically beautiful with simple and traditional appearance made to meet quality performance. Its advanced groove design promotes increased spin and control. Its design team worked intensively with the company's Tour Staff Professional Nick Faldo, making sure that the top-line of each iron blends into the hosel in just the right way to preserve the iron's beauty at address. The soles are moderately thin and the leading edge is moderately sharp, helping it to enter and exit the turf quickly and smoothly. Long-irons on the other hand, are engineered with wider soles to pull the CG lower for easier, higher launch while also increasing Moment of Inertia or MOI to make them more stable and forgiving.

This golf equipment has Ultra-thin face thickness that promotes faster ball speed and distance allowing the same impact on off-centre hits all because of the Inverted Cone Technology. Its multifunctional sole increases playability from a variety of lies while the progressive top-line thickness promotes confidence at address throughout the set. All these features combined make this new product the most powerful, playable and refined iron ever.

The TaylorMade R11 irons are offered in four shaft flexes - S, R, M, L. Ladies' flex shafts will be offered in the 5-iron through pitching wedge, attack wedge and sand wedge.

The standard R11 set includes eight irons offered at a street price of £799 with steel shafts in the irons and £999 with graphite shafts in the irons. The steel offering will be the KBS 90, while the graphite offering will be the Motore 75 S, 65 R, 55 M, 50 L. Men's irons are equipped with Tour Velvet grips, ladies with Winn grips.
